My home town has a fairly active live music scene and I have always enjoyed searching out local bands wherever I have been. On most occasions I am out for a drink with friends and stumble (sometimes literally) on a great band in a great pub. In these cases the only camera I will have is my trusty iPhone XS. I have however had one occasion when I deliberately went to an out gig with the sole purpose of taking some images.
The pictures on this pages (and any following) are therefore a mixture of sometimes rather wobbly iPhone shots taken on a night out with friends and some others that where planned and taken with the Canon.Â
The photo above and the six below where taken and a local pub in Peterborough called The Ostrich, the live scene is excellent there and it always has a great atmosphere. The band are called 2012, they are always well polished, play my kind of music and put on a great set.
All images taken with the iPhone XS
This local band play mostly rock covers from the lates 60's and early 70's, joined this evening by Cara they played a well received set at the Ostrich pub in Peterborough.
With the DSLR at home all images were taken with the iPhone.
